At first, he jokingly said it was just him getting excited to blab to his friend about what he did all day, but the Lorulean boy wasn’t stupid, after a few days, he knew that the stirring emotions filling his heart– no, his very being! – were the first signs of love. After a few days, Ravio began to notice that when he saw Link walking up to the shop, his heart would flutter and his face would get hot and red as he beaming with joy. What Ravio never expected was that his friendship would ever develop into more. At first, it was every two or three days he would stop by, but soon, Link came back each day at least once, and yet, he never said a word, just listened to Ravio talk, a sincere smile on his face. Link surprised him by coming by more frequently. After all, the green clad hero certainly had no reason to stop by, other than the fact that Ravio’s store was technically Link’s house, but even then, he assumed Link would be far too busy saving the world to drop by. But once Link purchased his entire inventory, Ravio assumed that would mean that Link would no longer show up. As time went on however, he began to see Link in a different light, their bond becoming more like a friendship. Ravio didn’t mind though, it gave him plenty of time to spend with Link, whom he greatly admired as a great hero. Not for lack of trying of course, but he couldn’t seem to make a sale to anyone but the hero, mostly due to his shop being in such a far off location from Hyrule’s Castle Town. After all, he had taken over Link’s home and turned it into a shop, although he never even sold anything to anyone besides Link. Ravio had spent plenty of time talking and bargaining with the hero throughout Link’s adventure. In particular, he was thinking about the time he spent with Hyrule’s hero, Link. He was mostly there to keep her safe, at least, that’s what he kept telling himself, even though he knew full well that the princess was quite capable of protecting herself.Īs they were walking towards the entrance of the Sacred Realm, Ravio couldn’t help but let his mind wander, as it often did as of late, about the events a few months ago. Ravio had no clue what she was planning on wishing for, but he figured it wasn’t really any of his business what the princess was wishing for. The pair had visited this place a few times ever since their land was restored, but today, Princess Hilda planned to finally make use of the Triforce’s ability to grant wishes. On this fine day, the princess of the land, Princess Hilda, was taking Ravio to visit Lorule’s Sacred Realm. Lorule was no longer truly a dark world as it was once was, ever since their Triforce was returned to them. The sun was shining brightly that day in Lorule. Ravio, Link and other characters, species, locations, etc belong to Nintendo.
